Design Elements
Design elements foster a brand image when used
consistently. Design elements include colors, fonts, strokes,
shapes, etc. Any type of expressions can be created with good
design elements, thus fostering the brand image no matter
the context. Visual branding uses a non-verbal language to
get the message across. Vector graphics tools such as
Flash software facilitate the creation of design elements.
Pictures
Pictures can be used to show products, special
features and competitive advantages. Pictures also support
emotional communication by creating images from comfort to
fear.
Illustrations
Illustrations are used to support technical
messages and foster content understanding.
Multimedia
Multimedia, especially Flash
movies and web presentations are in vogue in web
design and branding. Although there are really good applications
for Flash movies, sites with slow entry multimedia risk loosing
their visitors before getting a chance to show their content.
